The best way to get around Bethany Beach is the Bethany Beach Trolley. With the Memorial Day holiday weekend quickly approaching, we all know what that means for popular beach towns such as Bethany Beach. Traffic. However, just in time for the arrival of eager beachgoers ready to unofficially kick off the summer season, the Bethany Beach Trolley returns on Friday, May 28!
Sit back, relax, and let the trolley take you around the beautiful coastal town of Bethany Beach. There’s no reason you should have to sit in the summer traffic. Instead, hop on the Bethany Beach Trolley, which continuously runs between 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and hop off at your destination. You can flag down the trolley anywhere along the route for pick-up or discharge, except on Route 26 and Route 1. Plus, you won’t have to worry about trolley fare breaking the bank, as the cost to ride is $0.25 each way! Keep in mind the driver does not make change.
The Bethany Beach Trolley has 17 stops. Two trolleys run the same route, beginning at location #1 (Atlantic & Garfield) at 9:30 a.m. every day. There may be little or no service daily from approximately 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. due to a lunch break.
